March 1977
March 29: my first day on Earth. My parents call me Henk Linskens. From that moment, the world becomes my sketchpad. Papers fill up fast, and beer coasters become tiny canvases while I wait with my grandparents for those irresistible pancakes.
At school, it’s obvious where my attention goes. Drawing class is my universe. Soon I’m the go‑to person for posters, flyers, and illustrations for every school event. Need a sketch, a cut‑and‑paste masterpiece, or help because you hate drawing? I’m your guy—especially if you’re offering candy.
he love for drawing never leaves. I still draw, and I still love it—because honestly, nothing beats it.
Then comes the big question: what will I study? Books? No thanks. Sketchbooks? Yes, please.
I graduate with a mouthful of a title: Master in Visual Arts, specializing in graphic and advertising design. I dive straight into the graphic world and never leave. But the love for drawing stays, so I keep drawing, with the same passion. Because nothing is more beautiful. Well… except being Nora’s dad.
